Island Universe Hardware Inc. ("us", "we", or "our") operates http://www.islauniverse.com (the “site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site.
We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, any other payment method) email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Our web sites may contain links to web sites operated and maintained by third parties, over which we have no control. Privacy policies on such linked web sites may be different from our privacy policy. You access such linked web sites at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a linked web site before disclosing any of your information on such web site.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
When you place orders or access your account information, we use the secure server software ("SSL") to encrypt all information you input before it is sent to us. However, there is no method of transmission over the Internet, or, the method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security
Your personal data will be processed by us in the United States, where data protection and privacy policy from the Service are located. If you sign up with a user account or linked network with us, you are hereby agreed to this Privacy Policy.
You may also choose not to provide us with certain information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of our Site because such information may be required in order for you to register as a member; purchase products or services; participate in a contest or promotion

-Right to Opt-Out: As that term is defined under the CCPA, California residents are entitled to opt-out of the “sale” of data at any time.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. (“Children”)
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your children have provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from children under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our site.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to update or change this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page or through the email address you have provided us. This Privacy Policy is effective as of February 1st, 2020, and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
